Announcing the 2nd Annual Ice Bar at the Wentworth Inn
As you already know if you’ve ever stayed with us here at the Wentworth during the cold stretch of the calendar, Jackson, New Hampshire is a really standout winter wonderland. We set you up within easy reach of some of the finest cross-country and downhill skiing in New England, dazzle you with the frigid lawn sculptures of our long-running Great Ice Carvers Invitational Ice Carving Competition, and meanwhile keep you warm and cozy in our historic European-style inn, from the elegant dining room and luxurious spa to the decked-out hideaway of your very own guest room or condo.
Drumroll, Please…
Last year, we upped the ante big time with the inaugural season of our very own Ice Bar. Well, we’re very pleased to announce the return of that charmingly chilly watering hole for its second annual incarnation!
We’re opening the Ice Bar—sponsored, appropriately enough, by Stolichnaya—on March 3rd and 4th!
Not Your Average Drinking Establishment
From 6 to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday, your $15 entry fee to the Ice Bar will treat you within to a tasty spread of appetizers while the skilled (and cold-loving) bartenders whip up a delightful spectrum of ice-themed cocktails. And if you aren’t in the mood for the hard stuff, you’ll be able to sip a variety of nonalcoholic libations—hot cocoa, of course, among them.
Firepit Warmups at the Wentworth
Just like last year, we’ll also have both gas and wood fire pits blazing away adjacent to the Ice Bar so you can warm up, toast some marshmallows, and generally wallow in the seasonal atmosphere. Cocktails and nibbles in an honest-to-goodness Ice Bar followed up by fireside s’mores outside? Sounds like one big, delightful love letter to winter to us.
Catch the Ice Bar at the Wentworth Inn…Before It Melts!
Listen, before you know it the White Mountain forests will be gurgling with meltwater and the first blooms of spring will be busting out. Take advantage of the frosty finery of winter before it fades with a visit to charming Jackson Village and the Wentworth Inn—in time for a drink or two at the Wentworth Ice Bar!
